What a pool deck remodel actually involves
A pool deck remodel replaces the surface around the pool and leaves the pool itself alone. Your shell, your finish and your equipment stay as they are. The old deck is taken up or built over, whatever needs correcting underneath gets corrected, and the new surface goes down in its place — which is why a remodel is usually a much shorter and less invasive project than homeowners expect when they first call about one.
A lot of the decks we are called out to were poured flat and plain when the house was built and have simply aged out. Some have settled or cracked. Some drain the wrong way. Plenty are structurally fine but worn enough that the rest of the yard has been quietly waiting on them. A remodel is often the single change that makes an older backyard read as new again.
The honest part: what is under your existing deck decides a good deal of the scope, and nobody can see that from a photograph. That is why every estimate we give is done standing on the deck, and why the written quote comes after the visit rather than before it.
Three materials, chosen on site
Travertine, marble and concrete pavers each behave differently around water and in full Florida sun. We bring options to the estimate and look at them against your house rather than asking you to pick from a screen.
Travertine
A natural stone with an open, slightly porous surface, chosen most often for how it feels underfoot on a hot afternoon and for the soft, sun-washed tones it comes in.
Marble
A dressier natural stone in pale, consistent tones. It suits decks where the pool is the centerpiece of the yard and the surface is meant to read as one clean plane.
Concrete pavers
The widest range of colors, sizes and laying patterns, and the easiest to match to an existing driveway or walkway so the whole property looks deliberate.

Install begins once the permit is in hand. One project manager runs the whole deck from demolition through the final walkthrough.
Most decks are not just a deck
A deck rarely gets rebuilt on its own. Once the surface is coming up, it is the right moment to settle everything that sits on it or runs under it — because doing it later means cutting into a deck you just paid for.
We design and build the pieces around the pool as one project: seating and retaining walls, steps and elevation changes, an outdoor kitchen or bar, a fire pit or fireplace, landscape lighting set into the hardscape, and screen enclosures, patio covers and aluminum pergolas over the top of it.
You do not have to build all of it now. But deciding now what is coming later is free, and it means the sleeves, the footings and the elevations are already right when you get to it.

We are rebuilding the deck you walk on, not the pool shell, its finish or its equipment. That is why a remodel is usually a far shorter and less disruptive project than people expect when they first call. If something on your project genuinely needs a pool contractor, we will tell you at the estimate rather than after the quote.
Sometimes, and it is one of the first things the salesperson checks on site. Whether an existing slab can stay depends on its condition, how it drains, and how much height you can add before the new surface reaches your door thresholds or the pool coping. It is not a question anyone can answer honestly from a photo or a phone call, which is exactly why our estimates are done in person.
Travertine, marble and concrete pavers are the three you will see most in our finished work. Travertine and marble are chosen largely for how they feel underfoot in full sun, while concrete pavers offer the widest range of colors, shapes and patterns. Each behaves a little differently around water and in Florida heat, so we bring options to the estimate and look at them against your house, your existing hardscape and how the space actually gets used.
We run the engineering and pull the permit ourselves — you do not chase the county. For the HOA, we prepare everything the application needs, but the submission goes through you because HOA boards deal with the homeowner rather than the contractor. After that the timing comes down to when your board next meets — their calendar, not ours, and not one we can push.
It depends on square footage, the material you pick and what is under the existing surface, so we do not publish prices or ranges. A salesperson comes out, measures the space properly and walks the options with you, and the written quote follows promptly after that visit. The number you get is the number for your deck rather than an average that moves later.
